Guidelines and practices in a COVID-19 world!

It is important that Trinity Kids makes best efforts to protect players, sponsor representatives and volunteers at the Links Fore Kids golf tournament this year. In coordination with Cowboys Golf Club (CGC), here are a few, but not all, of the practices being implemented.

  • While inside the clubhouse, all guests are required to wear a mask with the exception of while they are seated at a table consuming food and beverages.
  • All golf facilities are now permitted to have two riders in one golf cart and the single rider per cart restriction was officially lifted by Governor Abbot on June 3rd.
  • Any CGC staff members scheduled to work that day will confirm with CGC management that they have no health issues and their temperature will be monitored at the start of each shift.
  • CGC cart staff will help direct golfers to their carts, but will not touch or help load golfers bags without asking for golfer’s confirmation first.
  • CGC will only accept credit/debit transactions for payment. No cash accepted at this time.
  • Sanitizing stations will be located throughout the club; all furniture, touch points and golf carts will be washed, cleaned and sanitized before arrival.
  • The driving range and putting facilities are open for golfers to warm up. CGC has spread out range bays to 10 feet apart and properly sanitize range balls.
  • CGC is currently at 50% capacity inside banquet rooms and Ring of Honor Kitchen and Bar area.
  • CGC will still provide buffet services with staff scheduled to plate meals based on golfer’s request. This guarantees only staff will touch buffet materials while wearing gloves.
